Dive into our Eco Habitat Experience

This place grew out of a simple idea create a stay that feels honest, warm, and connected to nature instead of rushing to impress. The land came first: the spice plantation, the trees, the quiet paths, and the slow rhythm that makes Coorg what it is.

Everything else was built around that feeling. The cottages were designed to blend into the landscape, the food stayed rooted in home-style comfort, and the experience remained personal and unhurried.

Over the years, the space has welcomed people who want to pause, breathe, and let nature set the pace for a while. What you feel here isn’t curated; it’s the natural calm of the estate finding its way into your day. This is a stay shaped by simplicity, care, and the kind of quiet that stays with you long after you leave.

Eco Habitat

OUR STORY

Eco Habitat began as a small family-owned spice estate tucked inside the quieter side of Coorg. What started as a piece of land filled with pepper vines, vanilla creepers, and cardamom plants slowly turned into a place people wanted to experience, not just visit. The idea wasn’t to build a resort or commercial getaway. The goal was to open the doors to a lifestyle shaped by clean air, slow mornings, homegrown food, and the natural pace of a working plantation.

The cottages were the first step in bringing that vision to life. They were built carefully, one at a time, using a simple rule — let nature decide the mood. Every room opens to greenery, every verandah faces the plantation, and every path is designed to feel like an extension of the land instead of something placed on top of it. The interiors stay warm and earthy, with soft light, natural textures, and a layout that encourages you to breathe a little deeper. You’ll notice how the space feels easy the moment you step in — no noise, no visual clutter, just quiet comfort wrapped in green.

As Eco Habitat grew, the experiences around the cottages grew with it. The plantation walk became a signature part of the stay, letting guests see how vanilla, pepper, and cardamom grow in their natural rhythm. The pool was added as a gentle contrast to the forest shade, giving guests a calm place to unwind under open skies. Bonfire evenings turned into a ritual — a simple gathering where stories, silence, and warmth blend together. Even the food took a life of its own, inspired by local ingredients and home-style cooking that stays honest, light, and deeply comforting.

The Cottages & Stay Experience

Eco Habitat began as a small family estate tucked deep inside a spice plantation, long before it became a place for guests to stay. What started as a quiet piece of land filled with vanilla vines, pepper creepers, and cardamom gardens slowly grew into a retreat where people could experience the true rhythm of Coorg. The cottages were never meant to be loud or modern for the sake of it. They were designed to blend into the plantation instead of competing with it, keeping the landscape and the silence as the main characters of the experience.
